Today is my 4th day being Offshore and as I got more familiar with the people, I truly enjoy every minute of it.
This morning, I flew from FPSO Belanak to Hiu Kerisi with 06:20 am chopper. It was raining softly and as the chopper gain altitude and swayed swiftly to avoid rainclouds, the scenery below was breath taking and yet heart stopping. The sight ot FPSO Belanak before the rainclouds swept was like a beautiful lady bug ready to be swept by grey curtain. It looked so lonely and fragile above the blue water, anchored to the sea bed, can’t go anywhere but bearing the storm. How lovely and yet scary. I could feel my eyes watered praying for the safety of everybody on board. Silly me, I know. They are safe. Of course. The ship is designed to witheld a thousand tropical storm. Or so to speak.
Fortunately, it was not raining in Hiu Kerisi. Or it has stopped. This cozy field also held special place in my heart for the steady production and cute interior design. I would love to stay here longer to enjoy the athmosphere. But unfortunately I can’t, so I’d better enjoy every minute of it whilst it lasted.
